Infinix Zero 30 in for review

Ivan, 01 September 2023

Infinix has been gaining momentum recently and phones like the Zero 30 are a big part of the reason why. It has a splash of style, a dash of substance, and a peppering of eye-catching specs like a 144 Hz display and large sensor selfie camera.

The phone ships with a 68W charger, a case, and a USB cable, which is a solid package, and even more so in its price range. Infinix also kindly sent us a vlogging phone mount and tripod that goes well with the Zero 30's 50MP front-facing snapper, but those are normally purchased separately.

The 50MP selfie camera has a f/2.45 lens with phase-detect autofocus. The sensor can capture 4K up to 60fps and should you need more light, there's a front-facing LED to help out.

Even better, using the small phone tripod we were able to attach both an additional light and a microphone to the Infinix Zero 30 for a truly capable vlogging setup.

Vlogging-aside, the Infinix Zero 30 is a capable all-round midranger. It has a curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display that can run as fast as 144 Hz. Inside ticks a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 8020 paired to 8GB or 12GB of RAM. There's 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

An ample 5,000mAh battery keeps things running and you can top it up to 80% in 30 minutes using the bundled 68W charger. Not bad at all.

At the back we get a 108MP main camera and a 13MP ultrawide shooter (there's also a 2MP depth sensor). Finishing off the highlights is Android 13 running under Infinix's XOS 13.
