Samsung US offers up to $300 of trade-in credit for the Galaxy S23 FE

Peter, 27 October 2023

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE became available on Thursday (October 26) and if you missed the pre-order deals, you can check out this offer from Samsung US – you can get up to $300 worth of trade-in credit for the latest FE smartphone with $100 of that being guaranteed. This is a good way to get rid of an old device that has been gathering dust.

You can find the offer on Samsung US by following this link.

The Galaxy S23 FE starts at $630 before any discounts, so you can have a near-flagship phone for as little as $330. The maximum discount is available if you send in a Galaxy S22. Last year’s flagship has the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 as the S23 FE, so this is not an upgrade in terms of performance, but the FE will be updated to Android 17, while the S22 updates will end with v16.

If you have an older S-flagship, the Galaxy S21 is valued at $250 in terms of trade-in credit. Current Galaxy S20 FE owners can get a $200 discount for their old phone. S20 FE to S23 FE is an upgrade in terms of performance and you get new cameras, including a 50MP main module.

The Galaxy A54 has been one of the best mid-rangers of 2023, but if you have one and are not happy with it, you can send it in and get $200 off a new Galaxy S23 FE. The phones are the same size, but the FE model has the more performant chipset and an 8MP 3x tele camera, plus a wireless charging.

If you’re looking to jump ship from iOS, the iPhone 13 mini also fetches the maximum $300 discount. If you have the older iPhone 12 mini, that’s worth $250 instead.

If you do pick up the Galaxy S23 FE, you can also get the Galaxy Buds2 Pro for $100 (MSPR $230). This discount is also available with the purchase of the S23 and S23+ as well as the Galaxy Z Flip5 and even the Galaxy Watch6 series.

Another bundle brings the FE family together – you can get the Galaxy S23 FE phone, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Buds FE for $1,000 (the total MSRP is $1,180).

Are you kidding? Keep the S20FE. Nicer design, Expandable storage and capable snapdragon processor. You are also still getting security updates, even if it's not a whole new OS version. Probably avoiding the bugs and issues that may be present i...

No thanks. Samsung keep dropping features. To replace my S20FE I'll be headed to Sony to pickup a headphone DAC, MicroSD and a proper camera shutter button.
