Xiaomi held a massive event in Barcelona ahead of MWC, where it finally launched the new flagship smartphones for the international audience.

As a refresher Xiaomi 14 sports a 6.36” LTPO OLED with up to 3000 nits peak brightness. The panel has 1200p resolution and a Gorilla Glass Victus on top. The trio of cameras at the back was fully overhauled – this flagship has three 50 MP shooters.

The main has a brighter f/1.6 aperture and a bigger 1/1.31” sensor with dual-pixel PDAF. The telephoto camera has a 75 mm equivalent 3.2x zoom lens, while the third is an ultra-wide-angle lens. Another change Xiaomi 14 brings is a slightly bigger 4,610 mAh battery with faster 90W wired charging and the same 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless.

The 5x telephoto camera with periscope lens, the 3.2x telephoto camera and the ultra-wide-angle shooter are all the same as the predecessor – 50 MP Sony IMX858 sensors that are 1/2.51" in size.

In Europe, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra surprisingly comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, matching its predecessor, but smaller than the 5,300 mAh it has in China. It still supports 90W wired charging, 80W wireless and 10W reverse wireless. The phone comes with Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box.

The smaller Xiaomi 14 is available in Black, White, and Jade Green and will have two storage variants (12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB) and a starting price of €1,000.

The mighty Xiaomi 14 Ultra will cost €1,500 in either Black or White in just one storage variant (16GB/512GB).

Both phones will come with a free screen repair within the first 6 months of ownership.

Global model has totally different RF circuit especially Carrier Aggregation Combos

Yeah, I expect a European price of 1/5 the number of CNY price in China. This translates to €820 for the base model, and €1300 for the Ultra. Definitely overpriced considering the actual prices are well above these expectations.

Should have tried to undercut a little. Base should be 900 and ultra should be 1300.
