Tecno Pova 6 and Pova 6 Neo announced with huge batteries

Following the Tecno Pova 6 Pro, which made its debut at MWC and just arrived in India, two more Pova 6 members arrive – the vanilla Pova 6 and Pova 6 Neo.

Both feature 6.78-inch FHD+ 120 Hz screens with Pova 6 getting an AMOLED panel while Pova 6 Neo features an IPS LCD. The two phones also share the same MediaTek G99 Ultimate chipset, Dolby Atmos, and gaming-inspired designs.

Pova 6 gets more capable cameras and a 6,000 mAh battery with 70W charging while Pova 6 Neo offers a larger 7,000 mAh battery with 33W charging.

Tecno Pova 6 and Pova 6 Neo also announced

Pova 6 gets a 108MP main camera with 0.7μm pixels and a 32MP front-facing shooter with dual-tone LED flash sensors. Pova 6 Neo features a 50MP main shooter and an 8MP front-facing camera. The software side on both is covered by HiOS 14 based on Android 14.

Tecno Pova 6 and Pova 6 Neo also announced

Pova 6 comes in 8/256GB and 12/256GB trims while Pova 6 Neo will be offered in 8/128GB and 8/256GB versions.

Tecno Pova 6 comes in Comet Green, Meteorite Grey, and Interstellar Blue colors. Pova 6 Neo is offered in Starry Silver, Comet Black, and Comet Green colors. Tecno did not disclose pricing and availability details just yet but we’ll make sure to update you once more info emerges.

Lol does anybody actually buy these phones, all I see is people unboxing them on YouTube just to show them off but I'm pretty sure nobody actually buys them.

I don't really see anything wrong about G99. People keep complaining that vendors are keep using G99 again and again, but does the G99 itself have a good replacement? 4G chipset is still needed to keep the cost way lower while keeping some other...

that is still relatively huge... other phones with significantly bigger batteries (than that) already caters to no avuraj consumers... thus "significantly" heavier and bigger (obviously) than most phones
