Nextbit Robin is cheaper than it's ever been at $144.99 unlocked
The Nextbit Robin 'cloud phone' and Kickstarter darling has seen its fair share of good deals over its lifetime. In fact, it's quite rare for a smartphone to be discounted as often as this one has been. Now though, it's reached the cheapest price we've ever seen it sold for.
Amazon is currently running a deal on the Robin, asking for only $144.99 for the handset, in either the "mint" hue or black. Keep in mind that you're getting an unlocked device for that price. Needless to say, if you've had your eye on the intriguingly designed Robin but haven't yet purchased one, now might be the perfect time to take the plunge.
Nowadays the Robin counts as a mid-ranger in the Android world, but at this price that probably doesn't matter. And let's not forget its unique selling proposition, the automatic cloud backup of everything you have on it. So you get the 32GB of built-in storage, but also 100GB of space 'in the cloud'.

I wouldn't buy a cloud-based phone unless it had at least 64GB memory built-in. Otherwise you would have to have a large data plan of over 1GB a month if you are going to be constantly streaming data from cloud storage.
