Nexus 5X currently going for just $269 in US
The LG-made Google Nexus 5X has received a price cut in the US, where Daily Steals has it listed for just $269. That's a discount of $80 if you compare it with the price at which Google is officially selling the handset.
The model on offer is a 32GB variant that's black in color, and according to the listing, the promo is only available for the next 4 days. So, if you're planning to avail the deal, you might want to act fast.
It's worth mentioning that the Huawei-made Nexus 6P is also currently at-least $80 cheaper.

That should have been the price of the device at release. At this point even that is expensive. It's last year's mid range , you can't sell it to this year's mid range prices...

The price was set by Google. LG doesn't sell this device, it's an OEM for Google.
