Niantic will hold AR photo contest for Pokemon Go

With AR all the rage this year, Niantic – the developers of the popular location-based game Pokemon Go is holding an AR photo contest. The contest is open to any person “at least the age of majority in your country, state, province, or jurisdiction of residence”. Which presumably means you must be 18 to enter if you live in the States. It also means the contest is open to anyone who is a resident of any country where the game is officially available.
We're challenging YOU to post your best Pokémon GO AR pic on Instagram w/ the hashtag #PokemonGOcontest. Learn more: https://t.co/xS1UQ8hOK1 pic.twitter.com/SaBcdQXO8P

Anyway, the rules are simple: take a photo using the AR camera in the game when a Pokemon appears and the best 10 entries win. The photo must be posted on Instagram and tagged with #PokemonGOcontest. If chosen as one of the top ten, you’ll win a Pokemon GO Plus, a poster autographed by the Pokemon Go team, and a pair of wireless Bluetooth earbuds. The last day to participate is October 25.
