I'm using a Moto E 2015 LTE and it can handle Chrome smothly... 1GB of RAM is enough for a lot of users whose only use social networks and IM, Stop talking Sh!@#!

HMD didn't take a lesson from the failure with Nokia 2 (which I have and I can make a conclusion Nokia 1 is not much different). This phone would be lagging even for calls and texting. 2 GB RAM is the minimum requirement for any phone in 2018. And no, HMD, I do NOT want to be treated as a user from a developing market, I don't wanna be treated as a fool - 80% of the apps in the Play Store are made for phones with 2+ GB RAM, Android Go doesn't solve anything.

People dismissing 1GB RAM phones are wrong.
A colleague of mine has a Huawei Y526 (I think) with a Snapdragon 212 and 1 Gig of RAM and it lags terribly!
Meanwhile a kid I know has an AndroidOne Smartphone (The original series) and it's absolutely fluid!
So... It depends on software optimization and The Nokia 1 seems to be well optimized. It seems to run quite smooth, judging my a few hands-on video on YouTube which is impressive for such a cheap smartphone.

I know it's Nokia not cheap Chinese phone but it's insult to the consumer when you skip what's essential to provide cheapest possible while the smartphone market have moved on to better things.

I think the smartphone's pretty nice, considering the service, brand it's ok ! For those who harvest the golden bird, for them it would be nice, for those labours, it would be a nice deal. But, i wish they had a dedicated MicroSD card slot considering the expanding Jio.
