i've got this fone few days ago. Its really a good one ! (unbelieveable). It has almost everything i need (small , less heavy , torch, long last battery and dual sim) . ;> . Now i own three phones. Nokia 101 is my smallest one (its good while playing football !)

This is what i am looking for. . a dual sim nokia phone. Its popular here ,in downtown and country side bec. unlimited calls are allowed only within the same network.I plan to buy two handsets (one for me and other one for my father)because some of my friends recommend me to go for this one "Nokia 101", they said its a very good phone with dual sim support and good price too.Thank you to Nokia for bringing this mobile.

... moreNo news of such update from nokia care India yet. Talked with their senior today afternoon & he confirmed about the only one version 6.25. But automatic loudspeaker & restart when hard texting are two issues they frankly accept & very soon there will be an update released to address the same. Expect software update within January 2012, the latest firmware is getting final touches & tests in beta version.
Once again, a BIG THANK YOU to NOKIA for giving this much at this nominal price.

MP3,FM,microSD,dual sim,speaker,standard 3.5 mm headphones jack,pretty good, clear and bright display not as old CSTN ,long time stand-by,big keyboard,rough housing not glossy look good in your hand,50$,standard battery,one long press flashlight,
reminders,configurable menu.
No problem at all .
Can not catch virusses :)

I bought Nokia101 today. I think its the best one for cheapest model. It has many apps that I prefere such as speaking clock, sms in our local language, flashlight, good radio and mp3. What's I like the best is : this phone can use two sim cards (dual standby), So its an economical phone for me because some of the mobile network offer very special price for calling within network. I also got 2GB memory card free of charge from the mobile phone seller.One more thing : the sound quality is superb. Thank you very much Nokia! You are connecting people and helping people too :)

yes it have fast forward option .... use keypad for various option. 8 for fast forward and next song .... enjoy ....

I got this mobile in last week. I got several problems.
1. Some times loudspeaker automatically on when connecting to a call.
2. Phone restart in hard texting.
3. Some times sim1 is not response and say "no sim card inserted"
4. Life time goes like a hell. :/ it was 2000 around 5days.
when i was bought the mobile its software ver is 06.25v
I told this problems to Nokia care center,they told updating software may fixed all the problems,. so I updated. now my current software ver is 06.65v...
NOW MY MOBILE IS WORKING PERFECTLY!!! :D :D

Try using 64k sim or 32k, most nokia 101 restarting problem comes with 128k sim cards compatibility

SJT, 13 Dec 2011I bought this 2 days back, and i have the restart problem v... more1. Perform a master reset (factory settings).
2. Do NOT turn on "Info Service" from Msg Settings. Don't turn on any other feature. Use for few days with factory settings and then turn features on one after another, in this way u'll discover exactly where the problem lies.
