Actually the mini sim is correct, it is just that it has been in use so long here that most people call it standard sim, but the real standard sim was what came out in early digital phones and was credit card size, same as what most sims are set in, when you first receive them, you pop out the mini sim, and some have the micro sim within the mini sim . Had same discussion with a vodafone sales person who insisted that mini sim was really standard until her co worker said that she remembered the bigger card, lol i even showed her one. As for the phone, its very good basic phone, i only wish it has 3G but i use it as a daily phone, only taking sim out when i need to go somewhere and i need internet access then i use my smart phone.

I am using this phone for past 3 months and it is troubling me by lagging and hangs while I m connected on a call and I have to restart for smooth functioning very frequently. Plz stop admiring NOKIA. It has turned into a china made device. Not a single phone of NOKIA giving good results.
