With a long and vast experience in mobile technology...I don't know why Nokia can't come up with a flawless dual-sim phone. Thinking these are all super low-end phone.

i bought a noika 101, i found that 8/10 calls were automatically shifted to loudspeaker. to remove it frst i have to activate the loudspeaker, then to deactivate to have proper saound.
after this i replaced it with the new one but find the same problem...
this time the battery backup was less then a day, i was just shocked... a china phone is much better then this, they r less in price and far better in service.
it has no satisfaction like nokia phone...
It is the worst nokia phone i ever bougt...

How many days last this phone with both sim active ? Can u install java games from micro-sd card ? Can u see pictures from micro-sd card ? can u see txt files from micro-sd card ?

How many days the battery last with both sim active ?

I went to the store just a while ago where I bought my phone and they replace my phone with a new unit!! hmmmm.... lets see.... I have this phone for 7days now and I'm having a problem with it. Restart,bug on the volume,hang, low light display when receiving messages,voice leakage... lets see what happen with this replacement thing.... I will update you guys! tnx.

Both were replaced with another brand new board about 2 months ago. So both are now brand new. No issues for both phones at the moment. If you have issues with your Nokia 101 and still with warranty, try to go to your Nokia Service Centers.

phone is good and light wt..
i trasferred by music mp3 files..
it is not getting listed...no music files is coming always..
do you guys have any specific folder ...need to put the mp3 files?

i dont recommend this phone i have this for a week, always restarting, waste of time when texting, it will autmatically shutting/restarting...:(

For those who are experiencing problems have them checked at Nokia Care or any affiliated service center in your locale while still in warranty period. In worst case the entire motherboard would have to be replaced. I already got 2 phones (1202 and 1280) serviced and replaced so technically I got a new phone since the IMEI is new.
Also, watch out for firmware updates since this is one way for bugs to be resolved.
The version of my phone is RM-769 6.25
I received a call today and it seems that the volume is still low even when I maxed the volume already. So far the phone did not switch to loudspeaker.
So far here are the problems I have encountered :
1. Restart while sending/composing SMS.
2. Low volume even on max.
Here are some more feature/s I like :
1. The rear cover has no button and slides with ease. The 1202 has a button that can be difficult to push and to slide open. While the 1280 has no button but needs to be pried open.
Here are the wish list of features I would want to have :
1. Would not return to the main screen after sending SMS. (a feature of 1202 I really liked)
2. SMS composed would be retained in the editor and not cleared. (also a feature of 1202 I really liked)
3. Automatic delete/overwrite of older messages.
4. Higher battery capacity (I have solved this problem by swapping BL-5CB with a BL-5C)
Some features I'm not so sure about :
1. Different SIM card slots. Although this would make is easy to recognize which is which. Perhaps this is the reason for their difference.
2. When checking for the IMEI there are 2 serial numbers displayed. Does this mean that there are 2 processors for each of the SIM slot?
I'm not here to recommend or discourage anyone in getting this phone but I'm posting here my first hand experience. I'm basing my comparisons on previous low-end models that I owned and used.

When you call a number with this phone, for example SIM1, Sim2 goes offline and inverse.

Hi.
If your nokia 101 have bugs or problems, try going back to the store where you purchased it. They should replace factory-defective phones. When I bought my phone, I always test all of its features before I pay. If one of the features malfunctioned, I have it replaced immediately. This way you will save time and effort. We work hard for our money so it's only fitting that we make sure when we buy something, we always (and must) get what we paid for. Agree? I bought mine here in Naga City.
