When Nokia releases this handset ? Here i've seen many people from country- side still look for N. 1280 . . They told me Nokia 1280 has black & white display but its battery is very good and phone is very strongh & good price too. I think N 1280 or Nokia 103 (both) are easy to use. . It doesn't have complicated apps like smart phone . Its also good for people who not be able to buy the high cost hand-phone. But the dual sim handsets are very intersted by lots of people in my country , :> Cheers Nokia !

I hope the 102 or 104 would be a redo model of the 1202 with separate buttons on the keypad. Same slim form factor and monochrome display. Put in a memory card slot and MP3 player.

But for now this has to do. The 101 is a nice phone except the restarts and other bugs that users found out.

Very Cool... After all... Nokia is the Only Company that can make whole India buy the mobiles. Be it Low cost featured phone like this (For Rural Indian Market Segment) or Nokia Lumia 610 NFC (For High end Urban Market Segment)

Thank you Nokia, had it got a torch feature as of Nokia 1100, it could have been a better. But its good phone.

            Kudos

Why can't they make a simple phone with Bluetooth? If you ask why-just for "hands-free" driving. These phones are usually used by elderly people, they don't send files to each other but they drive!

Thank you Nokia for releasing this simple monochrome display grafic phone. They are very popular in our country at present especially dual sime basic phones. We prefere to use them because of good price and quality. :>

The display is too small. It's ok to be monochrome. The handset is too big for a single sim. Make it dual sim, please!

Cheap models are silent successful ones....not like iPhones and Galaxies based on advts. and reviews etc... after all phones are for dialling and talking or messaging and keeping in contact...
model 1280 was for 2 yrs without any hitch... this replacement with just keypad change (seems to be plastic instead of rubber) and slight outer design change, compared to 1280 should go a longtime... request to release with more contact (1000)/SMS memories and wireless FM ... if such model is introduced, there is no need to change the design for min. 5 yrs....
also request to fix price to 500 to 600 rupees with lifetime SIM bundled (any brand) so that each affordable poor can get mobile phone to be in contact with loved ones and friends, who are in real need of contacts (especially in emergency) not like rich who can reach the other person to be contacted by anymeans with their money... Provided the volume of sales, the suggested retail price (rs. 500) is not too low and not very cheap like vegetables... and NOKIA can regain the market...

                                - different body colours
                                - different keys' font (classic Nokia Sans vs. new Nokia Pure)
The specs also note slightly lower weight of the 103.
