Dear reviewers....nokia 105 is NOT a multimedia phone... so stop bragging about it... it is a basic phone.. meant for calls and messages only.... dont expect any surprises... now for the review... I had a sony xperia mini pro.... a gem... I loved it....cared for it .... kept it like a pet... and then one day its touchscreen stopped working.... the end.. u can pray... u can call a faith healer.. u can perform a ritualistic sacrifice... but the fact is touchscreen is a boon till it is working... once dead... your phone is a piece of shit... not the same with basic phones... u can still recieve calls even if the screen is shattered... different phones have different uses... and we buy things based on our needs... I preffer to have nokia 105 as a secondary phone... it is not like a superhero.. but like a faithful dog...!

I was waiting for this phone since long. I wanted a similar phone for elder people and they always prefer nokia due to call and end buttons. However, Nokia was disappointing mainly for the fact that all phones are having the "Voice Leakage" issue.
Voice leakage is nothing but, there is no front speaker. Instead, a hollow cylindrical space where you hear voice from the back speaker. Saving production cost. Mind you, it was reported on Engadget that Nokia still earns 5$ on this phone on it's 20$ price.
Now, at 1000 Rs, there can be an argument that at this rate you get what you pay for. But, the main reason we need a phone is for voice and optionally messages. If it cannot satisfy the basic requirement of voice, it's useless. There is no point in buying a CAR which cannot run but only good to park in front of home or which cannot speed up beyond 40. It's called Junk.
My experience with this piece was horrible, gave away the phone to building watchman and have bought some Indian phone "Blu B6" model(recommended by the shop owner and had 1 year warranty, some Indian firm) for 750 Rs which was satisfying the needs of basic phone call service (plus all features listed on this model including Vibration). The question was not about money 1000 or 750, but trust and brand value. Take an 100-200 extra Nokia, but give us proper basics atleast.

12.5 hr talk time is nothing to mention as we will get half hr in reality . Nokia should make a phone with 2000 mah battery for call and text only ( no inernet,no need of camera,B &W screen)..u may ask double the price.
