Someone stole my 6 yr old 1100. I then called and pleaded 4 its return. The phone was thrown thro the fence into my garden where it stayed in rain overnight.Am still using it and I love it- Mwangi

Its the best mobile in the world which introduce untill nokia N9.it is realy water proof and shock proof.i am saying this from my experiance.we are made a 1100 fans assosiation in my city.have many members in this assosiation,we made 1100 fans community in orkut,nimbuzz,facebook,etc;I have a request to nokia company,please re produce this phone.it will became a super victory faithfully,and best wishes

miss my 1100 ... was an awesome phone ... sold coz it was 7-8 years old and was starting to give a lot of battery/charging problems & I also had a new phone

nokia 1100 is more better than nokia 1202 1280....so why not nokia produce 1100 type mobile?????

actually phone is very hard usable.original nokia 1100 phone can be use about 7 years.then coming some phones charging fault with power ic damaged.it cant repair.if it you charging correctly you can use it lot of time.

i had 10-15 nubm of this cell it is like
stuck in som1's head......
head wil be broken but nt even 1 screch on body.
dammmmmnnnnn solid matel cell.
must have a single peace of it, it will work for fights.

Interesting how the opinion on about this phone changed since 2003. Back then everybody was into fancy gizmos and no one wanted to "just make phone calls". The early comments totally slam this phone. All the newer comments are very positive. This phone is simple, tough and very functional for those of us who just "want to make phone calls". I got mine reconditioned in 2004 and am still happily using it. I hope Nokia reads these comments and produces similar phones in the future.

Memories Down the Lane...
My First Ever Nokia Phone, Bought it for 3500 in 2005.
Next was 1110, Then it was 6600, then it is 5233.
I am a great Nokia Fan.. I miss you 1100.
