this is by far the strongest cell phone i have ever had. i been through about 4 different motorolas 1 of them being the V3i and i must say that the nokia 1100 is still runing fine i've had it for a few years its even dropped in water and all u gotta do is put it out in the sun and it works like it did b4.. i drop my phone from 2 stories b4 and i'm still making calls. i'm looking in to getting myself an upgrade but don't worry i'm gonna keep this as a back up phone. i'm looking to get the 6500 slide just to see the new adventures i'll have wit it.

..the best phone.My wife has been through 4 Nokias in the last 5 years.Mine just keeps on going - strong as hell.
The phone's might have got fancier but the quality has dropped- thats what keeps people changing thier phones -
...people may laugh at my 1100, but the phone does it's job - no problem.

this is one great phone......excellent battery timings, great keypad, people may not like it coz it doesn't have the camera or radio or colored screen, but if you want one gem of a phone, you bet this is one....

Great great handset!
Have used it for about 5 straight years (bought an IPhone 3G last week). If you only need a phone - that's the best. Too bad they don't make it anymore.
It's one of the greatest examples of industrial design. A piece of equipment that 'just works'. From the UI (simple, few buttons that just do what you expect them to do) to design and materials (and I don't mean it's fancy, instead durable and cheap, so you don't have to worry about scratching or dropping it) — it's just great. Never changed the battery in 5 years: the original battery's life dropped from some 10 days when new to some 3 days at the end of it's life.

best phone nokia has created till now.. at a time, people were buying 1100 mobiles so much that other nokia mobile phones were not being sold..its a fact..

Infact, is a very good set (phone) i have used my own over two (2) years, and i'm not changing it because it got spoilt or whatsoever, but i just felt that i'm above that grade and wish to switch over to another upper grade of Nokia Make.
I advice you to try Nokia Make Phone.

100% reliable,worth,value for money......and wat do u want more........keypad is cool making sms quite comfortable.....battery backup is awesome lasting 6days...its great............

simple and so reliable the world of communication may go far, but stay simple like 1100. i love it

If u want a camera, get a canon/lumix or somthing lyk dat.....
If u want to listen to music get an ipod or an mp3 player....
BUT
if u want a real full-bodied phone, get the Nokis 1100.....
had it for more than 4 yrs now...
dropped it at least 6million times....
but still works beautifully...
2bad its out of circulation though

A rock phone! It stood the test of time. Until now, I'm using this as a replacement for my Motorola V3x because my V3x malfunction because of damage ribbon. Good thing this fella Nokia 1100 is as dependable as a friend.
