Great phone this. I don't need a colour screen to see who's calling me. If I want to play games I'll use my Nintendo GameBoy Advance. I have a top of the range Sony digital camera so why would I want one on a phone? As long as I can make and receive calls, and make and receive text messages I'm sorted. If you own this phone and think its cr@p then you should learn to read. After all when you were in the shop there would have been a sheet of paper giving you the spec of the home. This is a good little phone and like the Nokia information says: "The Nokia 1100 phone lets you conduct business in confidence and style - in the shop or on the move, during the mid-morning rush or at midnight. New features like the long-lasting battery and a durable design help you work even smarter." This phone is for us people who don't need all the bells and whistles on a phone. And with a battery standby time of 400 hours, you charge the phone on a sunday and you don't have to re-charge it till the end of the week!!!!
Worth getting here are my 10 points for you!!!!
01) cheap
02) easy to use
03) very durable
04) light weight
05) no complicated accessories to operate
06) is a NOKIA
07) its worth £29.99 (deal at the carphone warehouse uk)
08) long lasting battery
09) fits the purpose it was made for - a simple phone
10) its a NOKIA - I know I already said it but I had to make 10 points but couls only think of 9.

this phone suks,it does not even have pictureEditor,and poor thing it only has 2 games and now i regret buying it in s'pore b'cos it is an export version and it does not carries a warranty and im now worrying b'cos the screen got a crack in the screen and im now cursingit...Sendin out a message to s'poreans dont buy a export phon without warranty

I like this phone alot, true, it doesn't have all the fancy features like color display, camera, mp3 player but as a phone with message service it does a solid job. Battery life is AWESOME, very low energy consumption, great signal, loud ringtones, good vibration. A cousin had one of those phones with all the gadgets, and there were several times he asked for my 1100 'cause his calls would cut off or sound crappy, and yes we had the same provider. Never had a problem with it, I highly recommend it.

Proud of being a Nokia Customer, used 3310, 3315, 2100, just shifted to 1100. The battery backup time helps me to improve my business on comparing all other which I have used. (Just like that shifted to Motorola T 190 for a day, which I am not satisfied). My sincere Thanks to NOKIA for giving such a wonderful set specially for the marketing people. The serial no. which I am using is 35252400984. Thank U NOKIA

I use the nokia 1100 and i think its a good low range phone. offers a very good battery life.........but otherwise i think the phone sucks big time

it's a decent phone.lacks a majority of the features that most techies crave.and it's alot like nokia's old TDMA phones.the flashlight is cool though.it's been useful to ppl i know who have this phone.I want one..buti'll settle for my 7250i instead.:p.It's a great choice if all you want/need are the bare necessities!like it or hate it,whatever tickles you fancy!all in all,it's good.

what if i just want a fone? no color screen... (y do u need color? to look at low res mobile fone porn?) no camera, no bullshit. just sms and talk. does this fone suit the purpose well?

A very good phone made by nokia i love it because the battery last 8 days in stan-by and it is very thin and light i just like so very much this phone.........
