cannot send and automatic shut off. i experienced both. dont rename the profile. it will auto shut off if you select it in the "go to " key.

The latest version of this phone still has the software bug regarding the Sent Items where some messages remain in "pending" status even when they were in fact already sent. Once your Sent Items folder becomes filled with these "pending" items, you have no choice but to MANUALLY delete them one by one or you wouldn't be able to send any more text messages--a bug which has been around for over a year since firmware version 5.00 of the Nokia 1600 and was ported to the newer 1xxx series including this model. In spite of all the customer complaints, Nokia never fixed it.

These two usefull functions are missing in Nokia 1112. As far as your questions are concerned Nokia 1200 is having those type of Loud Mp3 type ringtones like you have mentioned. Speaking Clock is I think absent in Nokia 1200. I was having Nokia 1200 but just sold it because I want a coloured set having Radio,Flash light and more SMS inbox capacity therefore I bought Nokia 1650 but Nokia 1200 was also a good reliable set.

I am thinking of buying the nokia 1112 or 1200. I am not sure which one to buy. Does the 1200 have polyphonic ringtones like the song that says (Do you hear me when I call, I am waiting...)? Does the 1200 have the speaking clock? I know 1112 has both features.
