I dont understand Nokia with this handset, they got various budget handsets already. This one really does not anything to it. Kinda too bad they release such kinda handsets still. Ok color screen is not a MUST HAVE but lets be honest it is nice and kinda standard nowadays. I am a nokia loving person but too be honest I dont think this handset has any added value if you look at wich other basic handsets nokia provides. So dear nokia (not that you read this i guess but still =P) keep up the good work with other handsets and just let this handset be because this one is really not needed in my honest opinion

suggest all to buy this.light weight,easy to carry,fewer no of phonebook entries so that u remember them all by urself.

3)Time Tracker - with this function u can set call timer for each call i.e.,30 seconds,1min,2min to 99 min after that your call will be automatically disconnected .

There is a certain market out there, that only want a phone that is cheap, calls, texts and has BIG numbers.
This phone, Nokia, will be perfect and will definatly be a huge seller in the future.
People that laugh, and make fun of limited features - Think about all the nokia has on the market for you at the moment! N95? 6110? 5500? N73? E series?
You're covered already! You have what you need and want!
This one is for the other side of the market.

this is a good one to have as a spare or back up phone or just sonething to leave in my car.....not as my main phone - my mates would laugh at me. lol, probably not if ur in the older generation.

I don't want a colored screen - it sucks battery life fast. If this one has 4 lines of text when typing and reading text messages (just like the Nokia 1100), then I would definitely buy this one. Long battery life, simple, and I can use this in the public without having to worry much about snatchers and holduppers!

Black&white display is MUCH better than colour display. Direct sunshine makes colour TFT unreadable...

If Nokia thinks so much about the developing countries and those who want to make calls only and send/recieve text;why don't they stuck with 1100,1110,1108etc. There is no point in making phones with a new fecia!Instead make new fecias only and launch in the market,ha!ha!ha!

There are a lot of stupid people here. Nokia 1200 is a good phone for those people who only want to tex and to make calls. If you want colored phones, there are a lot of models that you can choose from Nokia or SE. Thanks nokia for the new 1200!it is a awesome phone. By the way i dont need a megapixel phone,because no one will match my canon Ixus! haha!
