Nokia 1280 is not properly good due to water effect.
1. If it fell in to water that is the end.
2.It also lost Network when it rains

the most amazing phone i've ever used. packed with all the essentials. radio is clear & powerful. battery life is amazing. glad I own one :D

The Phone is fantastic. it bites all mobile phone no network problem, battery life, even drop it in water after while it start work

I bought 2 on eBay 2 years ago from seperate sellers. I did-so in case one broke, but it hasn't yet.
Lovely basic phone that's robust and serves all my needs.

Nokia 1280 is the monster!! I had one and i know this phone is the best in the world.. And i will buy it some more... Good job Nokia... I hope Nokia will continue this phone forever..

NOKIA 1280
Good Phone, using it from Last 1 year & above.
But on 15.07.2013,
I purchased a new NOKIA 1280.
To my 'LUCK' I got TWO problems with it-
i) Burning smell comes from inside the cellphone, from the very first day i am using it.
ii) Display Light is LOW as compared to my old NOKIA 1280.
My old Nokia 1280 was in BLACK colour.
And my NEW Nokia 1280 is grey colour.
But the main problem is burning smell which is there till now.
I contacted NOKIA CARE but they told me that we have checked your handset & there is no fault in it. OR replace your handset from where you have purchased it.

as galaxy was the worst phone i had ever (reception, sound quality, touchy, never can hold it without fearing to trigger an unwanted app.)the 1280 is the best. suddenly i can hear and be heard loud and clearly in any conditions
