This is awesome phone.I invent the Smart Handphone Box and used this phone for my invention.The result is :
My invention will send SMS to car owner if someone trying to disturb the owner car.You can cut off the engine of the vehicle just send sms.Is nokia interest my invention.This phone will very famous soon.

A very nice phone with 14 days battery life (non-standby and standard usage, just turning off the backlight).
The latest firmware version is v6.70 and it still has an ultimately serious bug on it: disability to search contacts.
Although this bug appears randomly, it sucks, to be honest. Modern nokia phones has a lot more bugs than old nokie phones. Perhaps the now-generation Nokia developer isn't as good as the old ones?
I love this phone, and I hope Nokia fix it soon. Otherwise, I recommend Nokia to change its tagline. "Connecting People" is something strange if Nokia phones fails to search contacts.

I bought this phone as an extra phone while travel to Europe. This phone is excellent and works very well. The only problem could be that being inexpensive, people associate it as a cheap phone.

NOKIA 1280 simply the best!!!...

This phone is not so durable as many say. This is a bad quality phone. Mine keypad got hard within two months. Overheating when talking more than 15mins i had to use head phones. I brought this for texting and it can't withstand heavy use. I have good experience with samsung phones, even the cheapest samsung phone is far better then this. Only recommended for people who use it lite. Just to speak from time to time.

I lost my Samsung Galaxy Y and purchased this "dhansu" mobile phone. It is very good and gives me battery life upto three days. Text is readable in sunlight and dark.
FM radio, Flash-Light, Build Quality, Robustness everything is really good for this price range of 950 INR. Value for money phone.
