Hi, I have a nokia 1280. There is a big dot (circle) notification suddenly appear next to the signal bar. Anyone know what it mean? Tried googling but cannot find any answer. Thanks in advance.

When charging my 1280 never seems to indicate charging complete. It just keeps charging and charging. It's a previously unused phone with new battery. Tried changing battery and same things happen. When switched on after few hours charging the battery indicator is full though. Also every few hours on charge it beeps, but it just keeps "charging".
Anyone experienced the same or know how to fix?

Just bought nokia 1280 not responding to network, I have contacted customer care but there was not help as it it is still not reponding to network. It always says emergency calls only.

An excellent mobile. One of the best that Nokia produced and one of the most robust.
I've had mine since 2009, the year manufactured. All still working and same battery!
My favourite feature is the Monochrome Screen which can be seen in any light, especially in bright sunlight, hence a great holiday or travel phone. A basic phone with all extras one needs.
They can still be aquiredv if one knows where to look.
