Hey, i saw this phone in an online store here in Romania, it costs about 25 Euro, not sure what color to get though yet, would rather see it live first.
One question: Is the back of the phone from rubber or hard plastic ?

does keypad make too muck clicking sounds? and can reminders be repeated daily weekly etc as in a little high end phones?

Keypad is harder than 1202 but its still ok for me. Not too hard, not too soft, just enough. Its more apt for texting than calling. Cons are squeaking back cover, minor voice leakage and weak loudspeaker. Aside from these, the phone's perfect. It also has calculator, radio, torch, converter, calendar, reminder, countdown timer and stopwatch. The 1280 is a great basic phone.

Very Good phone for a super low price....and fantastic keypad!. the display is kinda small.

human, 11 Jun 2010is tht nokia 1280 keypad is really hard to press ??? plz co... moreI saw it's 'dummy' version @ a local vendor: from what I could make up, keypad is _not_ hard to press. If someone who has experienced this phone in actual can post honest opinion about it, we'd all appreciate it.
One more thing, we are more of less aware of all the goodies this phone has to offer, what we really want are 100% honest negative opinions about what's missing in this basic set.

this phone is great. but doesn't come with a jack in the box when you buy it.
this doesn't have composer

Battery cover is not tight. Sqeaks when texting. Had to put paper between battery and cover as filler.
