There are still no reviews or release dates on this thing? That's a shame.
The keys look fantastic. The monochrome LCD display looks fantastic. The BL-5C battery looks fantastic.
I hope it's not filled with Nokia's declining Quality Control.

I think I am understanding Nokia's strategy. You see 1202 is available for just 2000 rupees, and 1616 is for 2350 rupees here in Pakistan. 1280 is designed to be predecessor for 1202. Also keep in mind 1280 is designed to be 'cheapest set ever'. While it has options more than 1202, and less that 1616 (because of not having colors), will it be below 2000 PKR? Then who'll be after 1202?
Even if it's between 2000 - 2350 PKR range, anyone who wants retro screen type will definitely go for this set, hence killing market for 1202, and also effecting 1616 (similar options, but lacks color only).
So there you see people- this set has probably gone mass production phase, but will not be available to us until enough sales are made for 1202 and 1616.
Nice game, NOKIA.
