I hate vga camera, colour screen, low resolution, browser, even 3G
I don't need that piece of crap
I really love this phone, and i can't wait to buy it.
It have radio, 250 sms capacity, extended battery life, soft white display, and torch light.
That's all i need :)

It brings memory of 2001, when I got my all time best Nokia phone - Nokia 8210. It was an art of mobile technology despite of it's short battery life.
I could say that design of 1280 could be a bit sharper, but looking at stand-by and talk time specifications, I can say only one thing: well done Nokia!

The keypad on this phone looks fantastic and the last really good basic nokia phones with a great COMFORTABLE KEYPAD were the nokia 1112 and the nokia 1600. Ringtones were loud on these phones too.
The downfall on this phone is it could well be that the ringtones are not loud enough like the nokia 1202.
Only when it is released will we know for sure.
If it turns out to be a repeat of the nokia 1202 then it will definitely NOT be worth buying !

Lovely!
Finally, attractively designed proper phone with no cheap and useless camera&colour screen. Small and reliable phone with monochrome screen means that battery will be able to hold charge for over two weeks.
Perfect calling device!
I hope they will have it in black though.

this one have white color display is good, can see clearly under the sun light
