I've got a friend that has a Nokia 1600.He's complaining about the fact that he can't be heard by the other caller.What could be the problem?Is it a setting that he needs to activate?

essy, 22 Jul 2009it fell into the toilet bin and survived and also the call ... morethis is a great phone iv had it 4 ages and ive droped it soooo many time and its been in water like 5 or 6 times it doent break lol well made by nokia

mike, 26 Jun 2009hard to hear when talking,how do you turn vol up please. just press the right and leftnavigation key when you're on call to adjust the volume :)

if the phone rings more than four times. the phone locks up and you have to turn the phone off. to be able to use it. If you try to redial it tells you to stop call restriction. how do I correct this?

The phone works good but the 'manual' stinks. If you have an up arrow to the right of the strength bars it means your call forwarding is on. Try to find this in your book especially if you have set it in error. The online 'manual' is the same as the one with the phone.

As a basic phone this is a very reliable device, the battery life is very good, I only have to charge my phone's battery once per week and the sound clarity is also excellent. Its a small phone so it fits very nicely in one's hand and it also looks very stylish. Not a bad buy if you're looking for a simple, basic phone.

this phone is very good . the main advantage of this phone is battery only its last so long even it come 4 an week . and so many times it dropped 4m my hand and fall down but nothing happened thanks 2 nokia

yes,this phone is very durable.I have used it for 2 years.Although it doesn't have the many fuctions like other phones, but I like it!

This phone is invincible!! I dropped it over a dozen of times on solid ground like tiles, concrete, and on rocks a few times. And its STILL IN GOOD SHAPE. I had this phone for over a year now and I even dropped it in a river for a few minutes and it worked a couple of days later.

simply it is awesome.........iused it for last 3.5 years.....infact it felldown from a 4 storey building.....my heart stopped working but it still working........ha ha.....now i m using......w580i.....
