Very good phone, has been used for years, fell many times, even went into a washing machine and worked again perfectly 2 days later. Very easy to use.

Indeed, this Nokia 1600 is terrific!
Although its restrict features (it doesn't have a calendar!...), it's tough, strong, (many many times I have dropped it on the floor...and still it's quite intact!)
                      Great battery life too!
I recommend it. If someone ever get to know some other mobile phone with these features, please, let me know!
                      Best regards everyone..

okay..so, i had this phone for like, 5 years from now..and I'd like to say, that this phone rocks...besides being strong from several droppings, its battery lasts for almost a week on stand-by and like four days on unlimited text...how cool was that?but now, I'm planning to get a new phone for the reason that this phone started to shut off suddenly...it suddenly shuts off after sending a message then turns on again for example..i don't really know why...can anyone tell me what this phone's problem was?thank you!!

I personally like more the old Snake II, because on Snake Xenzia (Nokia 1600) if you choose a higher level of dificulty, the snake slows down when it gets bigger (mabie not enough CPU?).

I don't like its color display because of two reasons:
                          1) the pixels are too big and if I look at it from close range, I get dizzy :\ This doesn't happen to me on monochrome displays...
                          2) the display has the shadowing effect or whatever it's called, which I hate very much. The idea is when the image changes, you see a fade transition effect between the two. This gives me the impression that the phone responds slowly. I guess all or most cheap displays have this
P.S.: the screen size is NOT my problem...
Personaly, I don't like too much the keys. They're fine, but I can't text fast with them, it would have been better for me if they were all separeted, not put in groups (1-4, 2-5, 3-6, 7-*, 8-0, 9-#)

On the good side, the battery holds for 7-8 days, which is good, and the ringtones are nice, even though I couldn't add more to the preset ones. If it weren't for the display, I'd recommend it to everyone.
