Has anyone figured how to load some MP3 files onto this thing? I would love to interupt the snoring in my history class with some live beat.

I really enjoy this handset. It's basic, very purposeful and I love that you can use 918 characters in one SMS. I used to own a camera phone, but I literally never used the camera and only seldom made use of the built-in MP3 player. I enjoy - and highly value - practicality, user-friendliness and to boot, this phone isn't as heavy as some of the basic phones are. It's under 90g. Absolutely love the ridiculously long battery life!

Stop bit**ing about the mp3 grade tones it is mp3 go to the very end of your ringtone list and look up listen, and come fill me in.
Those are mp3 do you not here voices and music.

I love this phone I use it with Net 10 wireless and it works wonderful! I would recomend this fone to people that just want a phone, not an mp3 player and camera. And I don't appreciate people that say things that isn't true on here so if you don't know what your talking about don't say it at all on here.

ideal for people that just want to buy a phone...not a mp3 player/camera....great battery life.....i usually forget when i charged it the last time.

The format that the ringtones is saved as is indeed mp3, but the small memory means the files are true ringtones, not songs.

To Merlin:
It has no Mp3 function, and you can see that by the Memory of the phone, has only 4mb... Would be a song of maybe two minutes? It has soundquality of the ringtones what you can compare to MP3-quality... But it has no MP3 function.

just a week before only i bought 1600 black .it is really good nice compact mobile with long battery and soft keypad but the problem is some of them saying that it as mp3 but i dont know how to make it. it as a usb point in it. so if anyone knows it please mail me ill be sweet. thankyou so much for reading my opinion

My mom got a silver version about a year ago but I purchased the black version today. I'm actually very pleased with the black one. The key pads are much nicer than those for the silver version. I'm quite pleased with this phone so far. It was pretty easy to navigate my way around being a first time Nokia user. I didn't like the backgrounds available though, nor the screensavers. Basically, this is a pretty good low end phone.
One thing though, I cannot figure out how to set a new PIN or security code though. Does anyone know how to do this and can you help me to figure out how to set a new PIN/security code?

Very usefull for who want's to talk. Can handle massive impact's and still working.! exelent for everybody! Do the same on iphone or others and see the diference... !!
