My new nokia 1616 has hanging problem, its with other people as well, which make me angry some time.......
some time key pad buttuns stucks as well.....
Not a good experience with 1616, as for sure.

its multi phone book option not working/confusing. i have contacts in my sim as well as in phone. I want to view only contacts in phones not of sim. i chose multi sim options. howver it shows all the numbers both from sim & Phone. any solution guys?

feels good almost like a nextel thoufh phone but basic and radio.Cool. in Mexico is about 40.81 us dollars, like 500 pesos bye convertion of 1 us dollar per 12.25 pesos more or less

1661 has proprietary Nokia 2.5mm headset jack. Both 1616 and 1800 have standard 3.5mm headset jack. 1616 has soft rubber keypad (with shorter life-time). 1800 has hard plastic keypad (with longer life-time).

True, the phone does sound a bit louder compared to other handsets, but not to the point that it really bothered me. Unless the person on the other line is really yelling, then there's little cause for concern. Still, you might want to consider the wisdom of talking to your 2nd girlfriend on the phone while your first one is nearby. Better safe than sorry he he.

i just got it it is very good mobile for basic needs with smart size and shape but bad in its microphone speaker as it is in the back
battery is very long live good dependable

Newton Leonardo, 28 May 2010is the keypad of this 1616 made from rubber (like 1200-sort... moreThe keypad is not as soft and is somewhat more rigid than its predecessors in the 1XXX series, but being dubbed as "dust proof" it is still rubber-like. Fortunately, should the keypad deteriorate as likely it will, the whole faceplate (keypad included) can be easily changed. Unfortunately the navigation pad is only 4-way, the 5th or middle part of the pad can not be pressed. Bummer.

is the keypad of this 1616 made from rubber (like 1200-sort of) or hard plastic? if rubber, after somtime the keypad feedback is disastrous and annoyingly uncomfortable, unlike as it used to be like the moment of first time usage
