POSSIBLE SOLUTION FOR KEYPAD!?
I've done this in a 1662!
Grab a x-acto or scalpel and, vertically, cut along the ridges of the keypad.
I've cut between 1&4, 4&7, 7&*, 3&6, 6&9, 9&#, because I was always pressing two keys in the same column.
No more pressing two keys at once! xD

its been over a 2 years now since i had this phone,its still doing its basic function,but the sound quality,battery,and key pads start to come out,meant its time for early retirmint!
looking back at the price i think i have used it to its limet,so i dont feel too bad about it!
i plan to buy a new one or something like it!
after all,coinsdring its price this phone can get you by with the best value for the money,for some times!

This phone isn't even worth $19.99. I wanted something very basic, no bells and whistles, but I did expect it to actually WORK. I've had it for about a month and it's been one issue after another (from a defective headset to the battery constantly dying), and customer service was NO help. You would be better off flushing a $20-bill down the toilet - it's quicker and a lot less painful! DON'T waste your money on this piece of JUNK!

Not good,itz keypad is good for messaging than 5030.i have 5030.my brthr hav 1661.now he is trying to sell his phone and to buy 5030.when calling from 1661 sometimes it simply shutdown,reduce the sound etc.
In 5030 its keypad produces loud sound,battery life is good,fm and hedset is good....i think itz better to go for 5030 than 1661/2

Very light, practical, big TFT LCD, torch and FM radio, the best basic cell phone out there, a must have as a secondary phone.
