Flash light construction is very bad. It is worth less. Also nokia's dedicated screen is missing in which during sunlight screen is visible. In this set display is not properly visible during daylight like SAMSUNG, LG, SE

Jose Tepedino, 03 Aug 2009I bought this phone yesterday, but the alarm is not workin... moreIf your phone is set to alarm as radio the alarm tone wont ring. Because your handfree might be out of the phone. Change your alarm tone yourself problem will be solved. I have one no issues.

Brought this phone One month back. Earpiece volume is low, got a serious problem with the backside speaker phone sound leaks from back side speaker much louder than the earpiece during oridnary call. Battery backup is Ok. Anybody has faced the issues mentioned.?

Nokia phones do not add any USB connection function on those phones begin with 1XXX (low-end phones) while phones of Samsung or LG have.

Does anyone know if the 1661 has a large-enough digital clock that can be seen while the phone is on standby? It would be the type that doesn't need backlighting. The Nokia 1208 has this feature. The standby clock display is fairly large, easy to read and can be set to always show when the phone is on standby.

This is the best low budget phone.... The batery stand by time is upto 3 days... FM sound quality is also OK. Really good low budget phone.
