Hello, I cannot seem to find how to change the security code. Normally, new phones have their default security code set to 0000 allowing the user to reset but I cannot set my security code. it keeps sayin code error.

Phone is just fine.
Volume is adjustable but people don't seem to know this.
Buttons work very well too if you use finger nail (mans short nail is just fine).
Micro USB jack on side is NOT connected so you WILL NOT be able to connect to computer. Period.
Loudspeaker volume is fine too.
For 19 bucks it is what it is. If this phone sold for 39.99 I wouldn't know the difference.
Leave contact info on SIM card only since this is an inexpensive phone you might have to ditch it for many reasons.
I'm a picky person, but all I need is a phone I don't use much, or text much and I'm very pleased with the 1661 so far.
Any reception issues is because of T-Mobile coverage. I have yet to experience any issues but I live in a large city.
You get a little over 30 minutes with new SIM card if your not swapping out your old SIM and that's plenty of time to give out the new number to a skank you don't want having your real #er before she finds she can't contact you anymore.

YJ, 29 Jul 20103.5mm audio jack. Not 2.5mm. My father use it. Please correct it.This handset uses a 2.5mm jack, I use and sell the handset on a daily basis. i inadvertently lock myself out of my phone attempting to set my "security code",a feature which was not covered in the enclosed enclosed operating manual.my question being,"how do i unlock my phone?"

This Phone is in a Mobile Phone Shop, new, at what looks like a Bargain Price, with the Nokia Branding, which used to mean Something...
Something about Quality.
It's gutting.

Pls don't go this model and analyze first which model is best because it may test your ear and you may feel your speaker out ultimately it's LOW VOLUME and failure model. Nokia has to return back this model. utter waste in volume..............

this phone is good for those who stay inside. the moment u step outside u cant hear anything what the other person is saying, the sound is so feeble that nothing is audible.
I don't understand how nokia quality people let this phone out in the market, its a disaster :(

chris, 28 Jul 2010please i don't understand what you mean by downloadable pol... moreI bought this phone as a standby. But the ear piece volume is the poorest. voice is very feeble. It's not audible even at it's peak . I'm totally fed-up with it. What's the quality control of NOKIA doing?
