Nokia 1 gets Android Pie Go update

HMD Global rolled out the Android Pie update for the Nokia 3 earlier this month, and now, the company is seeding Android Pie (Go Edition) for its entry-level smartphone - Nokia 1.

The Nokia 1 was launched last year in February with Android Oreo (Go Edition) which is a lightweight version of Android specially developed for devices with low-end hardware and limited RAM. It comes with apps like Google Go, Maps Go, YouTube Go, and Gmail Go.

The Android Pie (Go Edition) update is rolling out over-the-air and should reach all the Nokia 1 units in a week or two.

We finally got Pie Go on our Nokia 1s in October 2019 and our now hoping it doesn't take that long for the Android 10 Go release to get to us.....
