Anyway, my experience with the Nokia 1 has been very good- I, unlike you, don't expect it to perform as well as a $1000 plus model. Nor do I drop phones. The screen is very clear, readable in strong light, has large text & I find no fault with it. There is a single screen of apps, all instantly available and the up/down swiping is excellent.
The 'chocolate bar' format is great, it is slim & light with a nice easy-grip texture to the back plate.
SO-- all in all a nice phone at a very modest price; your review is a bitter rant, I know not why...

My best advice is to use Via for web browsing. I tried all the big browsers and I was shocked at how amazing via runs on this phone . It feels about 80% as smooth as browsing with my iPhone Se on Safari which is really cool for people who like web browsers. My Se died from water damage and I got this as an emergency phone and I can see myself happily using it for the next year or so . Camera is also about 80% as the Se but it really suffer bad in low light . Overall I'm happy.

if you buy them brand new there will be no cracks

This phone has more cracks in it than the grand canyon and the ghettos in LA after just one month, a fly landing on the screen exceeds max pressure and it shatters into a million peice and cuts your hands into ribbons, if it was a child it would be in the special class dribbling crying like everyone else there, because it's retarded! I hate this phone with a passion, can only hold one app at a time because retards cannot multitask, it freezes and has spazzams like an epileptic orangutan at a disco, it is brainless and has nothing on the intelligence of a downs syndrome baby in the womb.... Don't buy it unless you want to be arrest for disorderly behaviour after you send it plummeting into the pavement at 6000kmph while you scream abuse at it in public. Buy this phone or any Nokia if you want self harm more often.
