Guys I just ran into a problem. I have this phone and I can't find anything about it. ( in settings it tells me that it is a nokia Ta-1029). First of all, I need a new battery. I threw my old one away without checking the model of the battery. Now I am looking for a battery for my phone, and there is two possibilities that show up, one for the Nokia 2, the other one for the Nokia Ta-1029. The one for the Ta-1029 is a He 341(model of the battery) and the one for the Nokia 2 is HE338. But as far as I am aware of, these two phones are the same thing! In addition, when I did some research about the Ta-1029, some people tell me it is the Nokia 2.1. That is when I started looking into specs. I realized that my phone isn't really a Nokia 2 or 2.1, because my phone doesn't have any updates higher than 7.1.1. Btw, this phone is from Europe, and I am in Canada now.

For anyone that is annoyed by how it closes apps frequently, try disabling Power Saver, EMM and Battery Protection using adb. You can look up guides such as "Disable Evenwell apps on Nokia 2". My phone stopped closing apps after disabling these apps and was even able to run a few applications that it was previously not able to. Battery life stayed slightly improved as well!

Guess what, I fell in the same trap too. I bought a Nokia g10 with a 5050 mah battery, everything was fine until it was upgraded to android 12, the phone became unusable after that. Don't trust brands like Nokia, Huawei, LG as you might end up with a massive disappointment. I went to oppo, Xiaomi, vivo, blackview, Samsung and never looked back

This fone is very decent and dependable which I used before I got a Note 10 Lite. It got good software support and it was a fine device. The Chinese brands can learn a lot from this phone and the software support it got.

After reading all your comments, yesterday i took 128GB Samsung memory card and made it internal.
And starting using it. Wow Nokia 2 us such a beautiful device to use. The sound that it provides us awesome. Connect JBL and turn the snapdragon Equalizer u will feel the music into your head.
And am using Nokia 2 today and it's really so so so so cute. I love my nokia 2❤️❤️❤️

Have redmi note 11. And Nokia 2.
So after using the three of it. My conclusion is - Nokia 2, yes i agree mobile is slow. U get angry to use Nokia 2. But i have used many Android phones.
Nothing can beat Nokia 2 in terms of quality and it's materials for 6-8k price
After using Samsung and redmi, moto
Nokia 2 is really awesome
The screen is excellent
5 inch screen and it's compact.

I have dropped 6-7 times from variable height
Nokia 2 survived. And it still works fine.
Nokia 2 is not a game changer.
But genuinely it's awesome to use and listen to music, it has the snapdragon equaliser in it.

This phone is so slow, my iPhone 4s runs minecraft faster. I tested it in Geekbench 5 and the multi-core score was only 123.

I had this phone, then bought a Huawei Mate 30 pro 5G and it stopped working after some months! Never buy huawei!! It is my advice. I am deeply sorry that I sold this phone now I don't have a smartphone at all. Need to purchase a Nokia again.

This is such a shitty phone. I bought one for 60 euro in 2019 and I can say, it was the worst phone I have ever had. NEVER BUY THIS!!!! It is overheating and it is slow as hell. Also forget that you will install apps, there is no memory room for them! Terrible phone.

The phone endures any drop. The IPS LCD screen is super good. The only problem is RAM, ROM and software issue. Requires constant firmware repair.
