beware., java games/apps above 1MB cannot be run on nokia 208.I tested a lot games.Result was "Out of memory".Nokia is cheating their customers.64mb ram is a Fake spec.can be seen on Nokia website also.I doubt RAM is Random access memory,or any other meaning for nokia phones ??
My Old SE phones which can run almost every game i installed even a 4MB too even though it's spec not mentioned about ram.

I instald whatzapp on my mob and working fine without any prob.

gramps, 13 Sep 2013You think better than 301?, how is texting keys large? all ... moreme also confused btween 301 and 208.the only thing for me to choose 208 is its internal memory and smooth keypad.301 lacks internal memory but has 3.2mp cam and its keypad not good.but 301 luks more stylish.but i dont knw abot memory issue on 301 or not.both r s40.i think 301 is better choice.

AFAIK Java applications can not use full RAM/memory available. limited memory is allocated to java applications.
Does Whatsapp works on this mobile?

Hii all,
I am getting "Out of memory error java/lang/outofmemoryerror" error on my nokia 208 while running a game of size 1.1MB
As on specification asha 208 has 64MB RAM and 256MB of internal memory.
Current Memory status
Phone=30.4MB used and 142MB free
Card=277MB used and 3.4GB free
and i installed the game on phone memory and then sd card.Both gives the same error.And this phone is not multi tasking so there is no reason for background apps and also 64MB ram is very high compared to this game of size 1.1MB.
Is nokia cheating their customers by giving high specifications with nothing in actual.I strongly suspect this mob dont have 64MB ram.The same game run in my old sonyericsson phone without any problem.
Nokia must answer this question.
