Lord, 30 Dec 2008A classic phone.
This is just what a phone must consist ... moreThat was our 1st cellphone. We bought that in 1995, it was an expensive one in comparison with the handsets present today.
My father used to keep that phone & I remember it was such a gigantic one that it wasn't able to be inserted inside pokets. He used to hang that with the help of his belt..
It was a single coloured phone on which texts were written with black on flourescent yellow screen. Even there wasn't a single game to be played. But its best feature was that texts were readable even in brightest sunlight

A classic phone.
This is just what a phone must consist rather than having all sorts of wretched features.

Have just bought one with desk charger at approx U$100, in really nice appearance, 34 hr call time, not any scratch, like new, approx 15hr standby standard battery, reception is fantastic, unable to know security code just for factory settings. Am really enjoyable. Cheers!

My first mobile phone. Accidentally left it in my laundry and it went through the whole cleaning cycle. I let it dry for a few days and surprisingly everything worked fine - smelled good and looked new too!

Had this phone in 1997. A rock and sollid it was. You could call and even sms (to expensive then). Really great quality. Enjoy this 2110. Had some phones in between my next nokia, those days nokia was the best. Now have a n73 that I enjoy. Only great one in between de nokia period was the Samsung D500.

First of all, i'm sorry, but my english is not to good.
I own a Nokia 2110 since 1998. And I use it. I drop it, the telephone goes underwater several times, i use it in rain, snow. I hiking lot and the telephone hiking with me. Dust, mud, sand, rock and it"s working. The akku is good, 18 hours in one charging, and i have 1 our talking time. (the akku 10 years old, the original) This telephone is the ultimate cellular, i think it will survive an atomic blast too.
This cellular is THE PHONE to me, other cellulars just toys, and jewelry.

really solid phone. my first phone back in 1999 and I kept it for 6 years.. then gave it to my mom and she used it for 3 more years and absolutely no problem.. now i think it still works, but no battery.. Its design is really elegant yet modern. I really enjoyed carrying it with me. the one who said it's a piece of crap.. why don't you look in the mirror? :)

the 2110 was my first mobile in 1995. the first GSM fone model in the philippines. dropped it accidentally several times, picked it up in 2, sometimes 3, pieces. it never failed me... save for network limitations at that time. i still have it today... it still works. i need a new battery, though, and i can't find any in the market. back then my sisters and friends liked it becoz it was so small (compared to the huge motorola ultra classic prevalent at that time). today, my children hate it becoz it's so big (compared to most cellphones of this generation). i still keep it becoz it brings back happy memories every time i look at it.
