Nokia has not purchased the phone business back from Microsoft. There was an agreement between these two companies for using the Brand Name "Nokia" for a certain period of time. The upcoming Android based phones will not be manufactured by Nokia itself buy by a third party in China.

why cant they bring a classic flip phone with WhatsApp and WiFi support, the camera should be 2 mp with led flash though. For cost cutting the battery could be non-removable and the radio could be removed. For inside theme just keep a color slider and add some retro-outdated fun apps.

The thing that we do not know and i wrote about is for the Os that they'll use for their feature phones.And that means not for their smartphones and neither for their tablets...

Maybe you are right and they 'll use older software like S40 for example but we cannot be sure because it is also possible to use some new and simple Os for their feature phones.
Or maybe they'll use 2 operating systems one for cheap feature phones and one for the more expensive ones,we'll see...
Good luck to Nokia by HMD.
Nokia is always a trustworthy brand and deserves the best.

I seem to have this problem with mobile phones.....the old(brick type) ones loose its signal if it's held against my body, the touch screen ones just would stop working and show that I'm not registered on the network and I need to restart it. I enjy chatting with family and friends on whatsapp, I need something that will WORK. Which phone would be best?
