Maybe you are right and they 'll use older software like S40 for example but we cannot be sure because it is also possible to use some new and simple Os for their feature phones.
Or maybe they'll use 2 operating systems one for cheap feature phones and one for the more expensive ones,we'll see...
Good luck to Nokia by HMD.
Nokia is always a trustworthy brand and deserves the best.

I seem to have this problem with mobile phones.....the old(brick type) ones loose its signal if it's held against my body, the touch screen ones just would stop working and show that I'm not registered on the network and I need to restart it. I enjy chatting with family and friends on whatsapp, I need something that will WORK. Which phone would be best?

Very good phone for professional use. In my country;
>>Supports satellite phones (thuraya) in terms battery & costs. I mean, while in the field, you can use it for calls where there's network coverage and/or use satellite phone for calls when your local service provider is out of coverage.

My favorite Nokia of this kind was Nokia 206. I liked it so much...I missed and still missing as was stolen.

I agree Microsoft put a rubbish OS in Nokia, the older nokia is much better.

We Want The Restoration Of Orginal Nokia Software In Nokia's Bar Phones. In Sms Option Theres No archive To Store And Save Your Fovourite Sms. So There Is No Difference Between Nokia Made Phone And China Made Phone.

We are waiting not only for wi-fi but also for a nice Qwerty phone.
Something like E5 but a little bit cheaper so that anyone can afford it.
Hmd/Nokia don't stop completely the Qwerty phones legacy,it will be a mistake.
Although years have changed many things in the area of mobile phones i still hope that you'll make phones for everybody like you used to...

We don't needs new phones...
Just bring back nokia's service like Nokia ovi store, nokia suite, life tools, nokia accounts, and other service.

Concerning the consumer demand I would like request to have phone with out camera but they need to have wifi.

There are so many phone like this in the market at the present , so many people ( not older people) focus on low-end or mid- range smartphone or high end smart phone instead. But if this kind of Candy- bar phone come with smart camera ( high tech camera) plus popular OS (like Android OS ) : what's happened ?
For me (myself) , i still need to use this kind of dual sim phone but it should come with high end specs. Every people have their own preference : i prefere to use this kind of phone because of light weight ( it is comfortable to keep it in pocket but nowaday so many people use two or three smart device : at least one more tablet, so this candy bar phone can be a secondary one !)
