Until it will be or not released any new info about it, maybe it's just a wrong idea but I would imagine and expecting it to have a customized o.s. based on both the S30+ and "Java feature os" experiences of all the nokia 216/3310/3310-3G, but I don't think it will run the same Java os of the 3310 3G cause from the 3310 info specified in the informations page of its menu it was using a cpu that usually had more ram.
I imagine it could maybe use some sort of refreshed hw version of the 216 model maybe to use 4G/BT 4.2 and probably for some tech/commercial reasons not using a specified S30+ os, while the nokia 105 is still specified using that os.
From the official product page it's already specified "Use the Opera Mini web browser". How could it be different with 16MB of ram.
Anyway I am interested in this phone and I'll buy it as the successor for the good nokia 216 probably still one of the best low end basic phones.

There is no possibility this runs KaiOS if it has 16MB RAM.
KaiOS is based on linux and a web browser engine with javascript and html 5, so it's used on hardware with hundreds megabytes of RAM, more powerful than the first generation iPhones.

generally i'm intrigued..
it's tiny, it has a headphone jack, it probably has a ridiculous standby time..
but sometimes you simply need to look something up on the go, use a fastfood app or google maps for navigation...
and the camera is sh*t...
