My question to the owner of this set. What is the call quality of this set. I used nokia's cheap model 1616. But when talking on phone, other person beside me can hear everything. Means sound is so loud like um activated loudspeaker. So every person beside me can hear everything. I have to talk alone in room or place for this reason.

This phone has very good call quality with both sides having no trouble what so ever. Other thing worth mentioning is the over all speed of series 40 has improved dramatically.
Last phone I checked was Nokia 515 with all the bells and whistles of a luxury candy bar and it was hopelessly pathetic to be exact. Anyway it's a healthy improvement.

bala, 26 May 2014hi bro every nokia model has a good call recording f... morenot every nokia, nokia small Sets cannot record calls, Some people say this also cannot record calls, and u r saying it can, have u checked using nokia 225 ? or just saying without knowing, nokia 225 has voice recorder, but it is not confirmed that it can record calls or not, only who should tell who is using this mobile

Plus points:
very slim, stylish, very light weight, bigger screen , brighter as well, feels solid and hard
good make material used. pretty better battery life, yes has torch light on top. conversation view (chat view) for texting.better browser, browsing is faster.
easy interface. call quality and voice is good. signals strength is good as well
Negative Points:
keypad is hard, Textng is not as quick as its on other soft keypad phones, messages appear on main screen, sms memory is very low, sms options are limited ( only chat view can be selected, send texts have to b saved no option to disable), no watsapp available, games are demo version not complete version.
