not longer possible to assign a separate tune to an individual contact. huge minus for me. my previous nokia 108 cold do this. a single contact could have a different tune.

Its a nice compact phone very light and easy to use for the people that use a phone as its supposed to be used for texts and calls.
Nice sized screen keypad is nice at touch and very tactile.
Battery is great and I mean great I would class myself as the average user and I can easily get a week out of it and it won't even be flat by the time of charging so its good
Camera is ok for the 2mp variety although not the quality of your top of the range smartphone, it will get you through I was surprised the quality is ok for a 2mp camera.
Very pocketable you wouldn't know it was there it does not take up much room at all, the build quality is superb comes with a metal back cover ok the rest of the phone is plastic the metal backing finishes it off nicely.
If you want a phone for its primary uses phoning and texting and like the more traditional look and feel look no further than this one.

Nokia 230 is a stylish phone, no doubt for that but it is very sorry to say that Nokia 230 is not a user friendly phone
1. It is very difficult to attend a call in the night, because for an incoming call there is no light in the key pad
2. When we open gallery it shows all the "video,audio and image files" but if we try to open video or audio file it shows as unsupported
3. When we open video player it shows all the "video,audio and image files" but if we try to open photo or audio file it shows as unsupported.

Nokia 230 is a stylish phone no doubt.But sorry to say that it is not user friendly
1. For an incoming call, only the screen shows lights and for keyboard there is no light. So it is very difficult to attend a call in the night.
2. For gallery, it shows all the audio,video and photos files. And if we try to open audio or video it shows as unsupported.
3. For video player, it shows all the audio,video and photos files. And if we try to open audio or photo it shows as unsupported.
4. When ever we try to open Gallery or Video player it shows "you are seeing the photos or videos in the Memory card or phone memory" , and for a continuous usage it is irritation.
