Does this support whatsapp? Is this the dreadful series 30+ operating system they have been using or the old s40 which was far superior and supported whatsapp

It's not Nokia, it's Microsoft's phone...but why didn't they use s40 platform? It's so much better as supporting java games and apps..

Why is microsoft still using nokia's logo on their poor products. They only want to collapse nokia's quality. They lack the skills of marketing their products

6 month before I brought Nokia N79.its supports WiFi, Skype, WhatsApp,other VoIP software, FM transmitter,TV out and some cool features like camera shutter and navi wheel.its so easy to keep in pocket.10 times fell down already. Battery putting n using again as usual. So I like these kind features should available in new feature phone.I like s60 more than s40 bcoz symbian s60 have nice multitasking. S60 is long back a smartphone os is now already dead. So welcome this new feature phone from Nokia (I don't like Microsoft).

Finally main thing in feature phone is battery life.feature phones are backup for smartphone.(I saw with so many people). If u agree them don't blame any feature phone.

I still like Nokia. So I already downloaded here maps, mix radio, z launcher everything on my tab

Everyone is saying nokia has launched this phone but in real it is not nokia it is Microsoft using nokia logo just to get some customer for this phone. Quite impressive for those dont want a smartphone but I think to get some more markete Microsoft should use s40 platform.

in this case: lte, camera min. 12Mpx auto focus, noise reduction and OS with a fast processor and plenty of RAM.

I love the fact Nokia is carefully watching the market and trying to go back to the days when it originally started. The issue is they are not still absorbing into current needs and as always tries to cut corners and charge high prices. They need to be like Xiaomi and Asus in pricing. They should be ready as Micromax, Asus and Huawei for bringing qualitative change. Design-wise its kind of better. They could have simply increased the camera to 5mp with flash and for front-facing 2-3.15mp is O.K considering the segment its addressing. Could have been a bit creative about the screen size. The ram and the speaker too could have gone under the knife. Keep the OS design a bit more simple for young and middle aged business users with all the new flashy things. Make it more music friendly and file-sharing. I would personally love it had a feature where the mobile could be connected to TV and Videos from the mobile be played from it on TV Screen, like old and new TV Sets without heating up. Radio channels too with some rippling old winamp screen effects.

It's hard to find a feature phone that is reliable on the market in 2015 that is reliable and actually functions realistically. I believe that Microsoft are going to right way to show the market different. Not everyone needs a smartphone. Some people might want a secondary phone or just don't need the additional features, I agree with you anonymous post below.
