Bluetooth profiles of devices like Nokia 203, 301 support AVRCP where I can use BT headset to control (forward / backward / stop / play) music player.
However in new devices such as Nokia 230, 222, AVRCP is missing in Bluetooth profiles. Only AV2P is listed.
Any idea we can use BT headset to control music player in 230?

As a Physiatrist on-call 24hrs/ 7 days a week I need a phone with good battery life. My iphone5s could not deliver this after a few years, so I chose to go back to a dumb phone as my only phone. That was a month ago. No regrets.
Pros- battery life, USB charging, expandable memory, bluetooth, can walk and sms from my pocket safely in the hospital, stopped playing dumb games
Cons- speaker on back (for night calls either I have to leave the phone face down and fish for it , or face up and hope I hear it), low ring pad tones, bluetooth would not connect to my PGs smartphone, so I could not get the gait video I had her record
As my work does involve tracking patient progress by video, I now use a camera at work instead of the phone. This is also ok, as I am not longer harassed about my icloud space limitation. The selfie button is useless to me

The material they are made from can increase the risk of it landing on its screen...The smoother a phone is the more likely it will break contact with the fingers before it achieves a spin rate.Simply the material the phone is made plays a role.(If a kind of plastic is more slippery than aluminium or not.)
But even if aluminium is more slippery according to experts it still have structural advantage because it helps to protect internal components...In every phone there are internal and external parts.It's not only the screen but also PCB,FLEX and many more.
It's obvious that mobiles can land (from back or front or corners)and break some internal or external parts.60% of the time,a dropped phone lands face down up as experts said.
Phones that fall from high places (ladder or elsewhere) don't need object to break and sometimes also candybar phones can break even from a small height.(depends to their construction).The only strange thing is that you find strange simple facts...Anyway-
good luck to HMD(company based in Finland)that is licenced from Nokia to make Nokia branded smartphones,feature phones and tablets for the next 10 years!

1. My 230 have dropped many times and it is not broken.Back cover is made of aluminium.What about yours?Propably the 2 phones you say that you have bought are totally made by cheap plastic.So first of all everyone knows that Nokia phones last longer.
2. In terms of design my Nokia 230 is really beautiful what about the design of your phones?So secondly everyone knows Nokia designs the best looking phones...
3. Nokia care will help everybody if something goes wrong but what about the brands you are using?In terms of service Nokia is surely better than unknown Chinese brands...
So of course it costs 65$ because it is a Nokia phone.Because of the reliability of this brand...
It is irrational and ridiculous to compare Nokia with unknown Chinese brands.To become a well known brand you must have some high standards and big history...Look at the seven pages with all the Nokia phones here in GSM Arena and you will easily understand what i am talking about...
You don't even write the name of the brand of your 2 phones!!Why?Because they don't have the quality of Nokia that's why they give higher specs in a smaller price as you say...
4. Moreover you say that you bought these phones.I dare you to tell us the brands of your two phones and send us a link to find those two phones so that we can see if they are beautiful phones,if they cost 30$,if the one have wi fi,2,8 screen,the materials that are made of and all the things you write(fortunately you didn't write us that they have 2 cameras).
Prove it...We 'll google them...

Otherwise its is far worse than chinese 2.8" bar fone worth 30$. Its mental satisfaction. I sold on loss and bought 2 bar fones one even with wifi connectivity. Why not You!

This phone just has a nice look
Other than...it's jst a bullshit
It not even has basic functions.....not even little of internal memory.....messaging is also disappointing. ...can't send messages to more than one person at a time...no copy paste option.....no edit option......it's not even the basic phone.......:/
Waste of money.....

Feature phones are cheap low end mobiles which are limited in capabilities so you can't expect everything from these phones.Feature phones are for distinct buyers with different philosophy..
I am very satisfied with Nokia 230 because it's beautiful,lightweight and it is coming with good battery,torch,fm radio,you tube streaming and also 2 cameras and nice keyboard for texting...So stop complaining about feature phones and if you don't like them just buy touch screen smartphones.
Nokia 230 is a simple phone but a good phone to tell you the truth...

To those complaining that this phone doesnt have this or that or yadayadayada!!!! Its a feaking basic phone and not a smartphone dumbasses!!!! Its dirt cheap and will last for days before it drains its battery and it mostlikely target those who use their phones for texting and calling.

Do not expect/ask too much from a BASIC phone.
Go and get a smart phone if you're not happy with its (nokia 230) basic funtionality..
