Recently bought this for my wife.Looks delicate.Menu is really fast and placed differently for a change. It has all the features required for day to day use and not clustered with technology.FM(Radio) is an major advantage.Keep it up Nokia for producing something worth buying.

          To Sanjay Rawat:

Actually, according to the market share developments, Nokia has been increasing its market share especially in the mid- to highend. The competition hasn't been able to answer the N-series, for example. Also, Nokia is getting more and more dominating in 3G phones.

Believe me I was looking for a phone which is cheap, good looking, user friendly,Most of its features can be used. I looked SE,SMSG and MOTO, I find Nokia 2310 was reasonably good in the FM radio range.

i believe nokia is concentrating on the low end market because this is the area where they are the strongest. they are losing market share on the mid to hi end phone to motorola, samsung and lg who are coming out with great looking design even if the features are not something to crow about, but then there are many people who want a good looking phone regardless of poor features. anyway, low end phone still control a large share of the world market that's why motorola and sony ericsson are trying to get a share of the pie too with their new mid to lo end phones.

I do't like the look of this phone compare to SE 230i and Motorola C168 because they have similar feature FM.

Yes it does have preset mp3 tones but i dont think you'd be able to download any. Thts why u need infra, USB, data cable, etc. All these thngs are a necessity rather than luxury. Trust me i got a 1110. My fone does support mp3 but i can not download no tones. whts the use then. ull be bored with the preset tones pretty soon anyways.

wow. Nokia are really plugging into the low-end market, aren't they? but these have so much potential, basic phones that make calls take calls text and ring. Maybe bigger buttons (our most common complaint here where I work is 'small buttons') and it depends on how loud it rings. I know that a lot of older people, and parents wanting a basic phone for kids, will be rapt in this range.
hopefully they'll be cheap enough to be prepaids from the start.

i think i did prefer this phone if compare to SE T230.first,this phone is newer than it....software belieable...SE software always got charging and jam problem...its 4mb is for its internal 100% mp3 ringtone,230 did not support MP3.however,it got java, and 230 not, colour good than 230....good battery perfomance....email me.i am a expert and opinion king in mobile....skb9927@yahoo.com

I think nothing special comparing to n2300 except colour screen & 4mb memory. but when we compare to se230 then I'd prefer se230 bcoz it has gprs/wap in addition & price is less than n2310 and what we do 4mb memory when gprs not available.

i think this model is cool for those who don't want anything complex, but rather a simple phone that can be used to communicate with others. Thanks NOKIA for thinking of people like me.

To RGB: The radio is mono, seems like a deliberate move to me to make the higher phones appear more attractive.
