Make one with all LTE bands for T-Mobile US (2,4,12,25,41,66,71) and I would get one to replace my Nokia 278 flip phone.

Anonymous, 01 May 2024Nokia symbian phone good 👍👌Well i agree on that but Symbian is DEAD just like LG and their phones.
Latest phone with Symbian were Nokia 808 Pureview.
Sice then from 2012 or so Android ruled everywhere.

I would love a phone like this, but with a bit better specs. The screen could be a bit higher resolution and TFT displays usually have a lot of ghosting, so an IPS would be awesome. The camera could be at least 5MP and have AF. NFC and some sensors like GPS and proximity would be good. Java missing is another downside.
All of these should be possible in the 100-150$ price range, but HMD expect people to pay close to 100$ for a phone with hardware from 2010 that only got its USB and networks updated. Its a damn shame nobody makes dumb phones with some smart features anymore, like Nokia did with its Symbian phones.

Really happy to see this upgraded Nokia feature phone bar form factor with improved battery and universal charging port(type-c). Though it’s LCD serves the purpose but would be more pleasant to see LED screens in 2024.

Mobilemaster, 30 Apr 2024I wonder who would buy such a phone as this when everybody ... moreLight weight + cheap + long battery life = great getaway phone. You can get calls but not intrusive enough. Plus if you are going out somewhere that has a high risk of pickpockets, you don't lose an expensive or in most cases your primary device that holds a lot of sensitive data including banking apps and often soft copies of your legal documents. So basically a phone you are not afraid to lose would be a viable market for this while still capable enough to meet basic web needs or something. My best guess...
