i think the N 2630 is very useful n easy to use the problem is with the software which is not the known software of nokia

tutu, 08 Jul 2008GREAT LOW-END phone. dont compare it with a N95U r right ! Pretty good device as a second phone: very convinient to put any pocket, capaciuos phone book & possibility to assign different kinds of numbers for one contact (e.g. 2 mobile, 1 home and 2 office #s - which is unavailable in SE unfortunately), big picture on incoming call, sms etc. Main disadvantages r very slow interface and unavailability to run few java apps background, but its ok in such cheap model

The Quality of the product and the sound system of the N2630 is what one can aspire. Nokia has presented all the qualities in slimmest mobile of the time. Its VGA Camera is the best with quality bluetooth is the most working. If one need a mobile for longer time it is then N2630. I use it 24 hours day running all the time and still takes 2 days

Design Good But Software Sucks !!!!!
u cant dial *0* from dis cell fone ... it switches off when dial *0* !! and *0* is used to listen to the voice mail ..so bad experience for me and the software is also very slow

Yeah i bought the phone preety slim and comfy to carry it around.its sure is light.The more the downloads the less the battery life.Good audio says i.Hard to damage and impact coz its compact.Dont expect much from it,just appreciate.Its one unique phone in compared to its size and price.About memory you got to study it to avoid over feeding it!Nokia connecting people.

Have anybody used Opera Mini ver. 4 on NOKIA 263... moreIts possible surf the web using the opera mini, but sometimes if the page is too large, the phone freezes and shows: "Out of memmory error"
i dont think that phone is perfect for surfing on the web.by the way i recommend the generic version of opera mini (opera mini 3) its much more lighter and much more faster for this fone. (only 500kb of "ram memmory" for applications)

mina, 03 Jul 2008is this mobile send message in another language except engl... moreIt depends on the manufacturer country actually.i liv in Bangladesh,nd my 2630 contains bangla with most othr indian languages as it was manufactured in India i guess.so find it in market.if it comes with arabic,it will be highlighted on product packet Inshallah.but simply 2 answer,it supports multi- language interface.

Ya,it runs opera mini 4 quet well.gud fon 2 be used as Edge modem(i use bluetooth adaptr). and u kno,i m replying u'r ans via opera frm my 2630! But O.M. shows 'Not enough memory' msg whn the page is over 28~30 Kb.Quiet disappointing...And to download, 2630 will redirect to its own browser and then do the procedings.

The nokia 2630 is such a disapointment i wasnt expecting an n95 but still i want a phone that can meet my simple demands without the need of such a letdown no phones perfect but nokia didnt design this phone properly issuse such as battery life,messiging and those crap headphones the only good thing about its is its size i guess.I just end up purchasin a real nokia 6500 slide

Hi Folks,
Have anybody used Opera Mini ver. 4 on NOKIA 2630 (in India)? I have Kolkata Airtel PREpaid connection. I want to know whether 1) the speed of getting websites is fast enough and 2) whether very large pages can be opened in a single page in the phone? and 3) whether the website texts can be clearly read with the phone in one's hand at a normal distance from eyes?
I will primarily use the phone for 90% time Internt Surfing (normal websites) WITHIN-the-phone using Airtel Mobile Office and the rest of the time for calling etc. I have noted that the phone has Java MIDP 2.0. and its has EDGE + GPRS. The OperaMini site says that the browser works on this phone.
Basically, I need a constant, pocket-size and mobile internet browsing device which is also a phone within Rs 5000/- and whihc is problem-free in BASIC use.
Please help with your suggestions. I dont want to regret after investing my hard earned money.
