Just because a camera has more pixels does NOT mean it is better than one with less pixels. If you ever read about photography you will understand this comment.

1.3mp is 1280 X 960 or 1,300,000 pixels

Nice looking phone. I've been using this phone for last 6 months. Camera is very good. Better than 3110. Bluetooth is faster than any nokia's mid-ranged model. GPRS & EDGE is superb. Display is awsome. FM Radio has a little bit frequency problem but good. The main fact is storage capacity. We need same category phone with expandable memory option upto 2 GB at the same price in near future.

can anyone tell me about 2630's battery life time??? I'm not happy with Nokia 3110's batttery life time...it doesn't last long is this same with 2630???

does the GPRS of this model deactivated. before i can send MMS successfully, but now it was always failed. Anyone can help.. or do i have to ask for my network provider? Need your opinion.. thanks guyssss

Love the phone. I'm not bothered about the low storage capacity as you can just transfer your important files to a PC using a USB BlueTooth dongle.
But... I bought it with O2 Pay As You Go branding and if you try to use downloaded web applications like the Gmail app or Opera Mini, it blocks WAP access!!!
After a lot of Googling, I've realised that O2's Pay As You Go customers are forced to use the O2 Active WAP browser.
I can't change the settings as (I'm assuming) the menu settings to manually add a new APN are hidden.
There's no keypad-based unlocking for this phone yet, either.
I'm going to try putting my brother's O2 Pay Monthly SIM into the handset and sending the Pay Monthly web settings from the O2 website. I hope this works! :o(

i bought this nokia 2630 last january.so far,it can store 1000 sms.pretty much ok.

Anonymous, 09 Jun 2008Anybody here would like to tell me how many sms can be stor... moreevery message has around 1 kilo.mine has around 180 messages in memory, about 180 kilo ocupied memory, and i can still recive sms.i assume that for 1 mega you can store around 1000 sms,i dont know yet if it has a 200 sms limit like ather phones
