My phone has a 13. something mb memory..why is it your telling to me that it has only 11 mb...

This phone is great..but ihave a question i dont know how to open or to manipulate the edge..can someone answer my problem...but all in all i like this phone...

I have used Nokias for 17 years both business and at the same time personal ones. I purchased the 2630 model 6 weeks ago and wish I hadn't. It keeps hanging (as mentioned by other people) if a call is missed etc. I have spoken to O2 HQ who said they could do nothing and I had to deal with shop I purchased it from. I have been to the O2 store I bought it from now 6 times and had it 'repaired' and also another new one (which locked in shop in front of manager after he passed it to me, he refused to give me another one and said go home and see how you get on! He added they knew of no problem and I was first person to complain. They would not refund and only offered to send it again off for repair. I have spoken to trading standards and they were not impressed at all. They said write to O2 HQ address to the company secretary and send recorded delivery with a 21 day maximum allowance for reply and resolve or else take them to small claims court. Insist on an upgrade or full refund plus reasonable expenses. I have NEVER experienced such unhelpfull shop or contact centre staff and hope I get the refund option as I wish to switch to Orange now ... am totally finished with O2.

the phone is nice especially the shape and slimness aswell but the only problem with this phone is that it does not have memmory card but the phone is remarkable.

I just bought nokia 2630 and when i tried to send text message, the message i sent was not save in sent items, do i have to do any settings on this phone to save those messages i sent. pls help me.

I've bought this phone a few days ago and i'm glad i did. It has an excelent design , it's verry slim and has a nice meniu , it support mp3 ringtones the battery lasts alot. It's a great phone compared to it's price.

I have been using Nokia 2630 for about 4 months now and it has not given me any problem. I really Love the phone. I am from Nigeria.

What about 2630 video camera performance? I read all the posts & nobody has commented on this feature, which is supposed to exist, acc to the tech specs. Thanks !!

the lights are on contuniously ,how can we off it while using mp3 ,it take s more battery power how can we save it

while using (2630) while we play the mp3, song ,and radio the lights are on continusly

but did the phone recognize the "outsourse"
mp3 as well as it recognize the internal memory mp3 or it appears them us destroy
file?

my new phone fell off the kitechn table and the screen cracked, rendering the phone useless. nice phone, but not very robust.

I purchased two 2630 phones on O2 pay as you go in Jan 2008. Both these phones hang if a call is missed while the key pad is locked. Sent both phones to O2 for repair, when they were "repaired" the problem was still not fixed. Sent both phones back to O2 again, this time one of the phones was replaced with new 2630 which seems to work OK, but the replacement for the second phone still has the same problem. Have now sent the 2nd phone back to O2 yet again to have this problem sorted out and am still waiting...
I read on another internet site that this is a problem with 2630 and Pay as You go, something about a missed call notification incompatibility. Of course Nokia and O2 must know about the problem so why are they not replacing the phones with a model or manufacturer that works???

Nokia 2630 is Jack of all trades(though master of nothing!).No usb cable or port was offered for end users from nokia.but its very necessary to back up data because it has only 11 MB of memory.I'll suggest all that stop searching USB data cable and buy a BLUETOOTH Adapter which is only 280tk in BD and of 4$-5$.2630 has strong Blutooth 2.0 and EDGE connectivity.even N80 dosn't posses Blutooth 2.0!so if you buy an adaptor it will boost up your 2630's ability to offer you its best.It will also help your pictures and music to transfer on your PC harddisk.2630 supports all Nokia PC Suites.

I just bought 2630 yesterday and after reviewing all the posts here is what I have to say:
1. The phone is slim and headturning
2. Familiarize yourselves with the shortcut keys features to answer all the volume issues regarding this phone.
3. Check your batterries if it is genuine so you can have a longer talk time.
4. Before using your new battery, you must drained or at least 1 bar is left before charging it for the first time.
5. The MP3 feature is not bad and can be use to personalize your ringtones. However, this is not inteneded for MP3 player, so if I were you, download only the ringtones needed and not the whole MP3 song to save space.
6. FM radio is good to compromise the unavailabilty of an MP3 player. Look at the brighter side, you can listen on a complete song though radio instead of MP3's.
All in all, I find this product a great value for my money as I only bought this phone because of its standard features as I have a separate MP3, MP4 player.
