To increase the memory of this unit, get a copy of the installer for the this unit and install to it to the new replacement higher flash memory.

TO VINNY AMO:
You cannot change or replace it with higher memory for your N2630 because the OS of your unit resides in the same memory meaning the memory of your phone has allocated the address of the OS and as well as the storage address.

i hav dis fone forless dan a week..i love it! only thing dat i don't really like is d maximum memory...(11mb)i want to know if d memory can be extanded...(by taking d parts off and install another memory card) i am from qatar ...it's a country dat is not very known ....jst send me a message if u know anything about extending d memory of d fone...vinnysish@hotmail.com

bought the cellphone yesterday...

the design is great. doesn't look cheap. camera is okay. texting made easy.

everytime i keypad-lock it then a message pops-up, i just have to wait about a 10-30 second then its frozen. all in all it froze 6 times.
and it's a bit slow. and sometimes it hangs for a few seconds. this happened 2 times.
the battery last for like 23 hours. i used it only a couple of times today and thats the estimated time.
keypad-lock freeze - 6 times in 2 days
a few second hang - 2 times in 2 days
OVERALL for me it's a C
you know the phone is cheap and everything so buyers can't expect something big from it.
but it's a good phone but it's absolutely not and emergency phone of work phone.

i have a made in india 2630
i bought it yesterday and yesterday it HANGED when it was on keypad-lock.
the seller told me it's okay. they fixed it and all.
after that, no problems. NO HANGING.
i slept put my my 2630 on the table.
i woke up today. It was again frozen. i took off the battery, same as what they did yesterday.
then i placed it on my bed.
I have to eat breakfast.
I checked it HANG again for the f*@#% 3rd time.
Took the battery off reinsert, same process.
Now the 2630 right in front of me.
Keypad-lock and message comes in
AND FOR THE F%#@$ 4TH TIME. HANG. FREEZE.
email me if your having the same problems as mine and if you know the solution. please help me. MY mom bought this to me as a gift. I was the one to choose it because it's cute.
but it always hangs.

It died when I received an sms, after 5 months of usage. After that when I was trying to start it it only stayed powered for about 30 seconds

Bought this phone 2 days ago. Here are my observations/experience:

- Slim build
- Bright display
- Good sound quality (earpiece but not loudspeaker)
- Sturdy and well put together

- only 2 days of battery life despite very moderate use
- if put in trousers' pocket, sometime it cannot receive calls (weak antenna?)
- poor reception while talking (a bit feel like short wave radio)
- no USB connection to sync with computer
I got this for USD100 so it is not bad. But I would have bought something like 6070 or 2600 classic (?)

its a good ph but only if it had expandable memory 11 mb is not good enough it needs a card slot other then that i like it...

the phone is slow... everytime i click to the menu i have to wait a couple of sec just to view or see the next page.

Everytime that I received the text message the time indicated that I received the message is not real time, it is late by almost 7 hours but the clock is indicating the correct time. How it will be syncronize, please advise. Thanks

i have this phone for 3 days and battery is fine and works perfect. i dont know why people say bad things about battery? This phone works perfect although it has small memory. Comfortable big keypad and easy for texting.

i just bought this nokia 2630 4 days ago, my problem is the battery life is good only for 1 day, but i have no comments to other features of this, it is a great phone.
