2nd time posting about this phone...anyone has a clue when this will be available in the US? it's a dual band phone and the current version that is out is 900/1800 mhz which is only good in europe but the Nokia website claims that it has 2 versions, the 2nd version is 850/1800 which is for the americas but no other info as to when it will come out.
Anyone has any info when it will be available?

Excellent design, Good features and dirt cheap pricing....
Pros: Slim, very light, Bluetooth, camera, video, Mp3, Radio, Edge, built in handsfree, very clear bright screen..Cheaps pricing!!!
Cons: 12Mb, 0.3 vga camera.
Make an excellents gift to the girls.

the only problem is there is no memory extension...so 11mb memory is no enough for today . so i highly recommanded Nokia 3110 classic..or Lg kg195

This is not a phone but a piece of art. Exceeded my expectations by far when I held it for the first time. Feather weight, slim, stunning, GPRS, bluetooth and much more. Love holding it in me hand again and again... :) Did I mention I paid just $125 for it. It doesn't get better than this.

hi 2630 users,
is the keypad nice to press? i own a 6030 and the keypad is super good. i m thinking of replacing it with 2630, but i m worried 2630's keypad is less good and sensitive... as i sms a lot. pls advise. thanks.

Hey guys,
I live in the US but currently in europe. This is what the nokia europe website says.
* Dual-band GSM 850/1900
* Dual-band EGSM 900/1800
In the US, we have the first 2 bands, but from what I read on some other sites including this site,it says this phone is only 900/1800.
Any suggestions on what to believe and do you think I should purchase this here in europe or will this phone come to the US also?

i think this phone is great but i'll rather have a se k320 than this one. they almost have the same specs and everything. i think nokia is trying to compete with se k300 series

guys,
this is a GSM 900/1800 phone, ie a dual band phone.
will it work on AIRTEL in idia which i think is on 1900 Mhz.
also will in work in international roaming in Countries like Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Srilanka, UK, European Countries & US. These are the countries i roam in.
I really like the phone and want to buy it, but just this j=hitch.
plz help.

I was in the nokia shop today and simply saw this phone by chance and have to say that it was beautifully built, it may be extremely light but it feels solid and unbreakable. the only problem is it does not have a card slot or decent internal memory.

Well. I have read all coments on this mobile and I can confirm that all truth. But considering into how much u will pay for getting 2630, that is the best price u ever paid for this kind of mobile.
VGA camera, limited memory, slow interface, not mp3 player are some downsizes. :)
But finally its nice mobile and worth for this price..

Hi everybody, this phone is still not available in Italy. The Nokia site say that it has an tft display but other sites says ctsn. Could you say me the truth? Thanks

This model is good. But one request We are working in BPO concern and we cannot use camera mobiles in our office. So please Introduce a mobile with FM and MPS without camera.
